DALLAS, TX – Feb. 22, 2005 – For the third consecutive year, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Department of Energy (DOE) have selected Lennox Industries Inc., a subsidiary of Lennox International Inc. (NYSE: LII), as an ENERGY STAR® Manufacturing Partner of the Year for Lennox' outstanding contribution to developing, manufacturing, and promoting energy-efficient products. Lennox is the only heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning manufacturer ever to be chosen for the annual EPA award. According to the EPA, more than 60% of the American public recognizes the ENERGY STAR label, making ENERGY STAR the national symbol of energy efficiency.
