Richardson, TX (June 2011) — The Lennox Home Energy Report Card Survey examines how Americans use and conserve energy at home; a third willing to cool off in underwear rather than turn down the A/C. Most willing turn off TV or computer before giving up A/C to avoid a power outage, but they can’t live without hot water or cold food. Changing air filters, replacing light bulbs, adjusting water heater temperature top list of things homeowners do to conserve energy.
