While most packaged units are single stage, meaning they're either on or off, this packaged unit can heat or cool at two different speeds. Most of the time the unit will meet heating or cooling needs at its lower speed, resulting in balanced and consistent temperatures with lower energy use.

Lennox Dual HVAC unit
June 06, 2025Lennox HVAC is amazing and Fairway Heating and Cooling in Oro Valley did a great job installing. They file all the warranty paperwork which includes a ten year warranty and they have certified Lennox Technicians on their team. Lennox HVAC is so quiet you don’t hear it going on or off. It runs extremely efficient and it’s a relief that any parts needed won’t cost a thing for ten years. You do t have to worry with transitioning from AC to heat the unit does it for you. The thermostat is a smart one so you can download the app and control the temp of your home from anywhere. So if you’re on vacation and heading home you can turn on the heat or AC before you get there so your home will be comfortable the second you walk in the door. I highly recommend Lennox. The product is excellent.
