Balanced comfort and efficiency
While most heat pumps are single stage, meaning they're either on or off, this heat pump can heat or cool at two different speeds. Most of the time the unit will meet cooling needs at its lower speed, resulting in balanced and consistent temperatures with lower energy use.

The ML16KP2 offers energy efficiences of up to 17.5 SEER2 and 8.2 HSPF2, delivering comfort and energy savings at a more affordable price.

Quiet Running cost saving unit
September 28, 2026Purchased a Lennox Signature Merit 4 ton 2 stage unit 5 weeks ago...very pleased with the unit......runs very quiet mostly on low stage......ran it on 78 degrees, 55 percent humidity setting....past 4 months previous electric bills were $160 for a 2100 sq ft home....this new units bill just came in for Sept...was $124, very happy with that....
