Retirement by the lake
April 24, 2026We purchased our home with a typical forced air propane furnace, including 28 year old AC unit. The existing furnace seemed to have a problem maintaining the thermostat temperature resulting in the temps fluctuating. Given the age of the AC unit and the current rebate program, we decided to give the heat pump a try. As we have had multiple homes throw out our lifetime, I have always appreciated the value of a quality Lennox system. The crew was here for less than a full day and the serviceman reviewed lol aspects of the thermostat and app with us. That same day my wife and I both noticed that the temperature was staying at the proper level and there were no more “ chill” moments. We both feel that the house is much more comfortable and there are no more blankets on the couch. Our propane bills have taken a nose dive but our hydro bill increased minimally. Given past Lennox experience, our expectations of the Lennox system were high, but we believe this system exceeds our expectations. We are extremely happy with Lennox, and the heat pump system,
