EL21KLV is the best heat pump/AC wisperer
September 05, 2026The EL21KLV heat pump is a very good performer in terms of keeping the temp levelled. Love it us quiet; when working outside close to it, it is wispering. We are still hoping it will keep working as of now if it is stopped two times within 3 weeks, because it lost communication with S40 because it connected via the two wires (via a 24V transformer) to 4 wires (R/C/I+/I-), keeps tripping. Next, the HVAC installer will have to add the 2 hard wires to avoid this tripping of the communication. Too bad for the ceiling added work!

Electric bill cut in half
September 01, 2026This unit replaced one that was 26 years old. This unit is extremely quiet compared to the old one and way more efficient. My first electric bill after installation was half what it had been the previous month.
