Great system, but noisy in a slab home
October 16, 2026I replaced my HVAC system in my old house about 8 years ago with a zoned Lennox system and it was one of the best home improvements I ever made. When I built a new home, there was no question- it had to have a Lennox system. The new system is well balanced and very comfortable. Our new house is built on a slab foundation which necessitated a main floor installation. We are disappointed that the new Lennox system is quite loud compared to the Lennox furnace & AC in our previous home (which was in a basement). We’ve gotten used to it after six weeks, but it’s still kind of annoying
