Features
Balanced comfort and efficiency
While most packaged units are single stage, meaning they're either on or off, this packaged unit can heat or cool at two different speeds. Most of the time the unit will meet heating or cooling needs at its lower speed, resulting in balanced and consistent temperatures with lower energy use.
Use Less Energy. Save More Money.
With efficiencies of up to 15.20 SEER2 and an HSPF2 of 6.70, the LRP15HPK can deliver significant energy savings. In fact, it can help cut your energy bills year-round. It may even help you qualify for energy rebates.
Quiet performance that’s quite reliable
Every Lennox® packaged unit comes standard with an internally mounted fan that helps reduce vibrations and keep operating sounds at a minimum. This lets the unit operate at a volume as quiet as 71 dB, or the sound of a handheld food mixer.
High quality, tough and dependable
Built for durability and reliability, Lennox packaged units are made with a heavy-duty steel cabinet, steel louvered coil protection, and base rails for added corrosion protection and rigidity, meaning a long, trouble-free life.
A refrigerant that’s better for the environment.
This product is compliant with 2025 EPA regulations for lower global warming potential (GWP) refrigerants. The Lennox choice of 2025 Compliant Refrigerant has a lower GWP than its predecessor and is formulated to provide excellent, reliable performance of your system for years to come.

LRP15HPK Packaged Heat Pump
New Lennox replacement
March 30, 2026Our new 5 ton Lennox heat pump is a replacement for the same model we bought 18 months ago. The inside coil (evaporator?) Failed and no replacements were available. So far the newer unit seems to be quieter, and distributes the treated air better throughout the living area. The old unit compressor buzzed alot in stage one cooling, while the new unit has a tolerable hum when in the same mode. I think if Lennox was to up the cfm slightly in stage 1, the white noise od the air flow can mask the compressor sound. We also have a 3 ton gas pack unit at another home and all in all, we are pleased with both.
