High quality, tough and dependable
Built for durability and reliability, Lennox packaged units are made with a heavy-duty steel cabinet, steel louvered coil protection, and base rails for added corrosion protection and rigidity, meaning a long, trouble-free life.
A refrigerant that’s better for the environment.
This product is compliant with 2025 EPA regulations for lower global warming potential (GWP) refrigerants. The Lennox choice of 2025 Compliant Refrigerant has a lower GWP than its predecessor and is formulated to provide excellent, reliable performance of your system for years to come.

Trane unit outperforms Lennox
September 30, 2025Never had a Lennox prior to June 2025, always had a TRANE. Was told that Trane parts are difficult to find. My Lennox blows really cold air, however it is noisy and my utility bills went UP by 20%. I was really disappointed as I was told by the salesman that it would save me money. That is not true. The first unit blew up two months after installation (compressor blew up). Spent 3 days without air conditioning in August at 112 degrees in Phoenix Arizona. The Seer number was only 13 so I do not qualify for a rebate from our local utility company for a new unit. My 3-ton Trane cost me $3,000 in 1999. The Lennox cost me $12,000.00. Wish I had my Trane unit back... it was still working....
