Yes, you can use different schedules on your s40 at the same time if your system is zoned. however, it's important to note that the s40 thermostat has four unique programmable schedules: summer, winter, spring/fall, and save energy. when zoning is installed, there may be up to four zones, but there is still only one main thermostat controlling all schedules. therefore, all of the zones are looking at the same summer schedule. currently, the lennox s40 does not support individual zone schedules. however, based on a similar issue that was resolved previously, there is a workaround. you can create separate schedules for each zone. for example, rename the summer schedule to zone 1 and set the programming as desired for that zone. then, rename the custom schedule to zone 2 and set the programming for that zone. once the schedules are set up, you can turn on the schedule for each zone independently. this way, adjusting the set point on one stat will not affect the setting on the other. this allows for independent control of the set points for each zone without affecting the other.
