Unit shuts off
January 11, 2026Working with Costco to get this best unit, great price and a Costco shop card, was wonderful. Our unit is efficient, a great size, and ready to take on our cold winter and hot hot summers, but it keeps shutting off! It reboots multiple, we are talking 5 or more reboots a day. If our installer is correct, the kill switch ( so our unit doesn't overheat itself) is to close to the heat exchange our unit is big and safety is a concern. Would love a resolution as to the reboots or if our installer is wrong, does the thermostat cause the issues. Our unit is on the roof, so we can not even verify the problem without paying another company to come check our brand new very expensive unit..That is a problem.
