HVAC service tech here. Installed this system in my home about a year ago along with CBK47 ar handler. I was happy with the ease of the install and setup of the system. I like the multi speed constant torque blower and it allows me to circulate air at low speeds for IAQ devices and provide proper cfm across the coil during a call for cooling or heating. The efficiency of the unit has allowed me to lower the size of the electric heat kit from 10kw to 8kw saving me energy. Outdoor unit is tall but its shape allows for it to be installed in a normal space for heat pump, I think it looks attractive too. I wish the defrost control came from the factory set with a termination temp of 90 degrees as I've found if its set lower it can cause the system to not defrost properly. Also the contactor on the outdoor pulls in very hard when its energized but other that that the unit is very quiet. Overall, I think its an excellent midrange option. You get a good SEER2 rating of up to 17 and you dont have to worry about the complexity and failures of a higher SEER inverter system. Common issues can be fixed with parts your tech already has on his truck. 4 star because of loud snap of contactor and had to tighten some of the screws on the panels from factory to get it to quit vibrating. Other than that, very happy zero issues. Proper installation is the most important to your system working as designed!
