The humidity sensor can also be found in a wall-mount installation or in a return duct installation. in a wall-mount installation, the sensor is installed on a standard handy box or directly on the wall in a conditioned space approximately 5 feet above the floor. in a return duct installation, the sensor is installed in the return air duct at least 6 feet away from the unit.
