What is the Lennox QMID?

The Lennox QMID is the Qualified Manufacturer Identification number used for federal energy tax credit filings. Lennox’s official QMID is L7S0, which applies across all Lennox-owned brands for IRS Form 5695.

What is the Lennox QMID number used for?

The QMID identifies Lennox as a qualified manufacturer when homeowners claim energy‑efficient HVAC tax credits under IRS Section 25C. It is required when filing for eligible equipment installations.

Is the Lennox furnace QMID the same as the Lennox QMID?

Yes. All Lennox furnaces and HVAC products use the same QMID.
