Do i have to register the s40 thermostat to use it?

While it's not necessary to register the s40 thermostat before using it, registering your thermostat will allow you to remotely control it from anywhere in the world on any device with an internet connection. It also enables you to receive performance reports via email. You can register your thermostat through the lennox smart thermostat app.
