The Smart Air Quality Monitor needs 24V power connection, so we recommend your dealer uses the same connection used for the S40. If you wish to have it installed in a different area, your Lennox dealer can use a 24V transformer for power as long as it is within reach of the allowable communication range of the S40 thermostat. You can place the Smart Air Quality Monitor in a common living area. The Smart Air Quality Monitor needs to be installed on the wall.
