Based on the previous similar incident, here are the troubleshooting steps you can follow: locate the breaker box in your home. flip off the switch labeled 'furnace' in the breaker box. this will cause the router connected to the thermostat to power off. wait until the thermostat screen powers off. after waiting for about 15 seconds, flip the 'furnace' switch back on in the breaker box. this will cause the router and thermostat to power back up. cancel the wi-fi configuration message on the thermostat screen. this should resolve the issue and your thermostat should return to normal. if the error message reappears, consider consulting with your hvac service provider.
