Yes, by default, S40 reminds you when it is time to replace the filter, humidifier pad, UV bulb, or when it is time for maintenance. Your dealer configured these reminders for you during installation, but you can always modify the reminder settings for how often you want to be reminded under Menu > Settings > Notifications in the reminders section.
