To generate a pin on the m30 thermostat, please follow these steps: on the thermostat, press the settings button in the upper right corner. select the settings menu option. under user settings, select the wi-fi option to enable it. slide the wi-fi on/off switch to on. on the screen that appears, select the wireless network. select the home owner’s wireless network on the screen. enter the passphrase for the home owner’s wireless network then press the join button. after a few minutes, when green checks appear about the router, internet, and server icon, on the left side scroll down to the bottom and choose the account menu option. on the accounts page of an unregistered thermostat, choose the generate pin option. write down the pin number, and then click the done button. this pin number is temporary and is good for twenty minutes. if necessary, you can generate another pin under the accounts menu option. please note that if you are unable to generate a pin or if you encounter any issues during this process, you can contact lennox technical support at 1-800-453-6669 for further assistance.
