1. Make sure your Lennox Smart Thermostat has been successfully upgraded to version 4.38 and is online.
2. Make sure your thermostat and smartphone/controller are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
3. Navigate to the Main Menu > Settings
• On the thermostat screen, tap “make discoverable”
• On the next thermostat screen, tap “show setup code”
• A QR code or numeric setup code will appear.
4. Open Your Preferred Smart Home App
• On your phone, open a Matter-compatible app (e.g., Google Home, Apple Homekit, SmartThings).
• In the app, choose “Add Device” and scan the QR code or enter the code manually.
5. Complete Setup
• Follow the instructions in the app to finish pairing.
• The thermostat will display “Pairing Successful” once setup is complete.
