Yes, an air discharge sensor can be paired with an s40 thermostat. in a previous case, a customer was able to successfully pair zones to the s40 thermostat and confirm the zoning control after reconfiguring the system through the thermostat. the discharge air sensor was confirmed to be present in the top left corner of the zone board.
