There are some colored lights on my Smart Room Sensor, what do they mean?
FAQ , Thermostats , Troubleshooting Modified: March 19, 2026
LED is only on when there is an issue with either signal strength or battery. This is done to conserve battery life of the unit. There are three LED Colors:
• Red - Battery. A red LED indicates either the battery is low (20%) or the device has not been paired to a BLE network. When the red LED light is off it indicates battery is good.
• Blue - Signal Strength. A blue LED indicates the signal strength is low or out of range. When the blue LED light is off it indicates signal strength is good.
• Green - Pairing. A green LED light indicates the unit is in pairing mode.
Note: If there are more than two conditions active simultaneously, for example low battery and weak signal, the LED will alternate back and forth blue and red in one second intervals.
