It is recommended that the Smart Room Sensor is always powered using lithium type batteries. Batteries are pre-installed. Estimated two-year battery life when using two AA lithium batteries. We highly recommend you replace the batteries only with lithium batteries. Other AA batteries, such as alkaline AA may result in shorter battery life.
