The S40 Smart Thermostat connects with the Smart Room Sensor via proprietary Bluetooth protocol, called a BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) Mesh network. The range between the S40 and any smart device is approximately 70 feet. When you need to improve the connection, you will receive an alert for low signal strength. Call your Lennox dealer to install a Lennox Wireless Extender to increase the connection strength.
