Presented in Green Builder Magazine’s annual Home of the Year and Sustainability Awards, the Green Innovation of the Year Award is designed to recognize a product, technology, or material that has contributed to enhancing the sustainability of the built environment.

The Outstanding Corporate Innovator Award, presented by the Product Development and Management Association, identifies companies that create and capture long-term value through product and service innovation. Past companies to win include BMW, Apple, and FedEx. This marks the first time an HVAC company has received this recognition.

Green Seal, a third-party organization, deems products worthy of the Green Seal Certified Mark for meeting or exceeding leadership-level, life-cycle-based criteria for sustainability.

The Green Builder Magazine “Hot 50 Products” is an annual selection of the most innovative, creative and all-around sustainable products available to the building market, as identified by their editorial staff.

Every year at the International Builders’ Show, a panel of independent judges select products on display that best represent the most innovative offerings in nine distinct categories, including “Best Green Product” the category for which we were recognized.
