Don't understand the technology, but this is a great product. You really can't hear it even when upstairs where the unit is located.
The cooling is so efficient that it allows me to adjust the thermostat upwards, thereby saving on my electricity. It is more than adequate for the size (3640 sq ft) of this house.
The air quality indoors has also improved alleviating some of the allergy discomfort sometimes experienced by family members. Great Product!!!

This unit is great! It's extremely quiet, and it cut our electric bill in half! We also love the two stage feature. It's like two air conditioners in one. It is a little expensive, but worth it. It's true what they say, you get what you pay for!

2 stage A/C Excellent unit. We really like the quiet outside compressor. The Lennox touch screen thermostat is user friendly. I would recommend this unit to anyone.

We replaced an older Lennox with this new model. The difference in efficiency was dramatic. We have had record breaking heat this summer, but the air conditioner was certainly capable. The electric bills were significantly lower than last year when the weather was mild for summer. We love the two stage fan which we run most of the time. The temperature in the house is more even. The outside unit is very quiet which is an advantage.

I purchased this air conditioner paired with a new lennox two stage high efficiency gas furnace. This system single system was purchased to replace two separate systems which previously heated and cooled my home. Paired with zone controls, this system has resulted in a significant reduction in operating costs as compared to the old systems while delivering a more uniformly heated and cooled environment for our 2-story home. Glad we purchased this Lennox equipment.

It is a great unit and I feel that we are saving on our electric bill. When you are outside you do not hear the compressor except when you walk by it.

For the one year our XC21 has been in service, our electric usage has dropped an average of 5 kwh/day. Both the compressor and air handler are extremely quiet. We couldn't be more pleased.

Before I moved to Florida, I had a Lennox A/C in my previous home that was reliable and functioned trouble free for 26 years. The unit in my new home failed after nine years. I decided to stick with a winner, and went back to Lennox. I have not regretted that decision.

Our purchase of the Lennox XC21 was a winner from the first month of installation. We have had the unit for just at a year. This summer was a hot one, hotter than last year. We enjoyed a 45% decrease in our power bill, our home stays at a comfortable 78 degrees with the relative humility @ 39 percent.Our investment in Lennox was a great choice.We would recommend Lennox to anyone looking for a great Air Conditioner.
