We are very happy with our new furnace, compared to the old Pulse we had!! this one is way better, the house always feels warmer now and is a more even heat with the 2 stage motor .

Replaced a 27 year old 80% efficient unit with this high efficiency model. Compared to the old unit, This furnace runs very quietly and the cold spots we had in the house before are now a thing of the past.

This furnace has such a quiet fan you can barely hear it come on. It's nice as the heat is equalized throughout our home and heats up quickly.

This furnace is great for a 2-story / colonial-style home in that it seems to keep the entire house at a consistent comfortable even temperature regardless of the outside weather conditions. I find the blower to be quiet which for me is important.

Up-dating from the loud pulse furnace has been a good experience so far quiet and comfortable. Have only had a short time so after a cold Wisconsin winter we will see the true results.

This furnace is very quiet and heats the house uniformly, maintaining the "set" temperature precisely. Too early to tell about efficiency, as the unit was installed last month.

We have enjoyed how evenly this furnace has heated our home and how much warmer we feel. We also enjoy how quiet this unit is. We only hear it when the fan is shutting down and that is only a quiet falling noise.

This furnace operates well, providing clean comfortable heat.
However, the transition of the two speed blower from low speed to high speed (especially early in the morning) is a bit noisy for a basement location beneath a bedroom. Sounds a little like a jet revving up for takeoff. I may need to insulate the basement ceiling.
Otherwise very satisfactory.

We've only had the unit for about a month but so far it is much quieter than our previous unit and appears to provide more consistent heating.

Huge improvement over my 19 year old Weathermaker 8000, I like the low speed fan air circulation, it makes the house much more comfortable. My only regret is that I did go with SLP98V, my co-worker has it and he told me SLP98V is dead quiet and he couldn't tell whether the furnace is working or not even when the heat is on. EL296V is very quiet too, however, you can definitely hear it when the burner kicks in.

When we needed to replace our furnace, we wanted to put in a good, efficiencient furnace, but since we are not planning on living in our current home for more than 7 more years, there were some tradeoffs to be made between a feature rich high end furnace and the investment. We chose the EL296V because it gave us the advantanges of a two stage furnace with the lower cost. The furnace works great, the installation makes all the difference in the world. We have a rental condominium that has a Lennox furnace and we would be another one should we ever need to replace another furnace. Good value for the dollar.

What a change! This furnace is very quite to run and does a great job of heating our two story house. All areas have easy access, such as the humidifier and filter. The energy efficiency will make a big difference in our heating costs as well.

This furnace replaced a furnace which was 22 years old. You could hear and feel the difference once the new Lennox was turned on. It so much quieter and the heat seems to be more evenly distributed through our home. We are pleased and thoroughly enjoy our new furnace. Thank you....

Last week we had our 35 year old Lennox furnace replaced with the Lennox EL296V. It has been as cold as -15 degrees Celcius since it was installed and we have been impressed with how quiet it is and how much better it has been heating the rooms furthest from the furnace. These rooms used to be noticeably colder. We are very pleased!

We just bought a new home and the furnace we had in the home was newer but way too big for the house it was in. It sounded like a tank everytime it kicked on and we have small children so it was a serious problem. with our new Lennox it is quieter than a whisper and its so easy to use. We LOVE it. couldnt ask for a better system. Not to mention that it is the high efficiency one and we save money on our bill each month. Thank you Lennox!
