XC25 Air Conditioner
The most precise and efficient air conditioner you can buy7
Thanks to Precise Comfort® technology that allows the XC25 to change its output in increments as small as 1%, your home can be cooled to perfection, with exactly the right amount of energy used every time. No other air conditioner can even come close.
Here are some of the top features of the XC25:
Efficiency rating of up to 26.00 SEER can save you hundreds of dollars each year*, compared to a standard air conditioner.
Variable-capacity, inverter controlled operation works much like the cruise control system of high performance automobiles, automatically making adjustments as necessary. In the XC25, cooling capacity automatically adjusts up or down, based upon cooling demand, to use only the precise amount of energy needed to maintain temperature within 0.5 degrees of your thermostat setpoint.
SunSource® Solar-Ready option allows you to add solar modules and create a solar powered system that generates electricity for your air conditioner and more.
ENERGY STAR® qualified which means it meets or exceeds EPA guidelines for energy efficiency.
This product has been designated as one of the Most Efficient ENERGY STAR qualified products in 2014. Products that are recognized as the Most Efficient of ENERGY STAR in 2014 prevent greenhouse gas emissions by meeting rigorous energy efficiency performance levels set by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
With cooling efficiencies of up to 26 SEER, and advanced variable-capacity technology that cools homes to perfection, the XC25 air conditioner has been named one of the Top 100 Best New Home Products for 2013 by This Old House. It keeps temperatures held to a fraction of a degree, every hour of every day. No other air conditioner can even come close.

Rated 5 out of 5 Very Quite Had system running for about 2 months. Not sure it is really more efficient than old system, will need to run through two seasons and compare my usage stats. I keep all my utility bills dating back 20 years so I can really tell if there is a substantial decrease in energy usage. So far the system runs very quite and cools much more consistently. Far less temperature variation. Good air flow. Blower inside house is also very quite. August 28, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ellen851 The quietest air conditioner ever! The technology behind this system enables it to maintain the temperatures in the home seemingly effortlessly. The compressor is outside my bedroom window and it is not even audible from inside the house. August 19, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Donna55 Incredible machine!! This machine along with the zoning system installed makes our home extremely comfortable. August 16, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Don45 XC 25 AC unit This unit is very quiet. It looks like it is very well constructed but we need another five years or so to attest to its quality. It is a variable speed unit but you can't tell by the sound it makes that it is working hard or easy. The house temperature is always maintained exactly at the set temperature. Most of the time, we don't even know when the unit is on and cooling the house. Hopefully our electric bill will be reduced significantly. We'll let you know in a month or so. August 8, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by RayK Quiet and efficient I researched many different products and chose the XC25 for its efficiency, high SEER rating, and Solar compatibility. August 1, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by CharBear 1st Quality Overall the top performing A/C unit that one can buy. July 31, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Granny55 Like efficiency but some requests We like the unit - runs very quiet and is very easy on the pocketbook compared to what we have. We really needed a 3.5 ton unit, not a 3 ton but only 3 and 4 ton units were available. I would also request better zone control thermostat. What we have does allow us to control two zones but does nothing for controlling temps during different hours of the day so there is still a LOT of interaction with the thermostat. July 31, 2014
*This chart compares the 5-year savings you can expect from a 26.00 SEER air conditioner vs. existing equipment with a 10.00 SEER rating and industry-standard equipment with a 13.00 SEER rating. The region used to calculate household fuel and utility costs reflect a cross-section of cities in the U.S. In addition to geography, cooling costs are based on 3-ton capacity specifications, with 1,800 cooling hours per year and 11.62 cents per KWh (Source: EIA National average electric rate-Rolling 12 months ending December 2012). Your actual costs will vary depending on the weather, local fuel rates, system settings and your personal lifestyle.
**iComfort Wi-Fi® Touchscreen Thermostat must be installed with an iComfort-enabled indoor unit for maximum performance.
