Rated 5 out of 5 by dabj01 Excellent product. Could not be more pleased with this system. Operates so quietly and efficiently that we are hardly aware it is on. The "set it and forget it controls" are great. The fact that it is made completely in the U.S. was another selling factor. I would readily recommend this unit to anyone in need of a new system. I think that it is the best on the market. December 5, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by RonDonofrio Poor Design The unit is outdoors & with heat pump system - when the fan is on and it snows or freezing rain, ice builds up on top of the system (grill) and the shroud around the fan is less than 1/4 inch clearence & water drips on the shroud side & freezes & turns to ice & then blocks fan from spinning & damages the motor and efficiency. Rated 5 out of 5 by Roller1 Excellent quality and very quiet in operation. This is by far the best AC system we have ever had. The icomfort thermostat is awesome. The oustide unit is well built and looks like it will withstand the central Texas weaher with no problem. The indoor unit is so quiet, we sometimes wonder if it is even running. Dave hit a home run on this one. The installtion was done by very professional people and the end result is a well satisfied customer. Many Thanks! September 27, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by gmacked Solar Ready and Extremely Quiet Our family loves this unit. It is very well built and it is very quiet. Unlike our old unit this Air Conditioner is very efficient and runs with a lot less power then our old unit. I am exploring the solar panel installation to save even more money. July 26, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Ron52 So quiet you barely know its running! We just had the XC17 and the SLP 98 Furnace installed. The AC is so quiet, it's amazing! The new iComfort thermostat is really "cool"! I use my iPad to manage my temps. Awesome! July 18, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by butlindrive Very Quiet, almost can't tell its running We have only had this new air conditioner a few weeks, and have only run it a couple of times. It is the quietest air conditioner I have ever heard and it works great. May 26, 2013

*This chart compares the 5-year savings you can expect from a 18.00 SEER air conditioner vs. existing equipment with a 10.00 SEER rating and industry-standard equipment with a 13.00 SEER rating. The region used to calculate household fuel and utility costs reflect a cross-section of cities in the U.S. In addition to geography, cooling costs are based on 3-ton capacity specifications, with 1,600 cooling hours per year and 11.35 cents per KWh (Source: EIA National average electric rate-Rolling 12 months ending July 2009). Your actual costs will vary depending on the weather, local fuel rates, system settings and your personal lifestyle.
