ENERGY STAR® qualified which means it meets or exceeds EPA guidelines for energy efficiency.

Rated 5 out of 5 by thetinwacker Love the two stage I use the xc16 with a harmony 3 zone panel. At night I can cool the upstairs while letting the temperature rise a bit downstairs. Unit is very quiet and saves me money compared to a normal unit. January 22, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by CARL122 REDUCED ENERGY COST 40% AND QUITE WE HAVE EXPERIENCED REDUCED ENERGY COST 40% IN THE FIRST YEAR AND THE MULTI-STAGE FEATURE MAKES IT RUN SILENT WHILE MAINTAINING OUR COMFORT MUCH MORE CONSISTANTLY THAN OUR OLDER TRANE UNIT. December 13, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by HCYG This is a poor quality unit The Coil has been replaced two times. The Expansion Value has been replaced three times. Probably has had the Capacitor replaced 15- 20 times. The service company is embarrassed. I would have to be honest and say the unit is a peace of JUNK. The service company has been very good. November 11, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by barb Air conditioning costs are higher than my old Lennox product. The system was sold as an energy star system, but based on my experience to date, I should have replaced the coils on my 1995 air conditioner. The current unit is using more energy. System noise is about comparable to the old unit - not bad. August 25, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by george43 Cooling has been great I am disappointed in the level of noise of the unit. This was an important feature for me since the unit sits outside of my bedroom. I would have considered a different Lennox AC product if I had been told there was a significant difference in decibels compared to other units. July 13, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by MaryEllen76 The two-stage feature is what I wanted. I replaced my 18 year old Lennox air conditioner with a new X-16 because of the two-stage operation. I expect to get many years of service out of this quality product! May 1, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by JoeB excellent product I had looked at the ACX14 first and then decided to get the XC16 for solid built and quiet operation and being 2 stage for more efficient operation. April 25, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by jack70 I like the two stage compressor I have only had it two weeks but I have used it twice and it's quiet April 25, 2013
**This chart compares the 5-year savings you can expect from a 17.00 SEER air conditioner vs. existing equipment with a 10.00 SEER rating and industry-standard equipment with a 13.00 SEER rating. The region used to calculate household fuel and utility costs reflect a cross-section of cities in the U.S. In addition to geography, cooling costs are based on 3-ton capacity specifications, with 1,800 cooling hours per year and 11.62 cents per KWh (Source: EIA National average electric rate-Rolling 12 months ending July 2009). Your actual costs will vary depending on the weather, local fuel rates, system settings and your personal lifestyle.
