Solar-powered heating & cooling

Available in 2010, the SunSource® Home Energy System starts with an air conditioner or heat pump from the Dave Lennox Signature® Collection. These units can be easily upgraded—at the time of installation or in the future—by adding as few as one or as many as 15 solar modules to create a complete system that uses the sun’s energy to heat or cool your home and to power lighting, appliances and other electronic devices.

Thermostat with built-in Wi-Fi connectivity

The iComfort Wi-Fi® thermostat gives you total remote comfort control. It makes it easy for you to adjust your home's temperature and save energy from anywhere in the world, using a smartphone, tablet or laptop.

Ozone-free indoor air quality systems

The Healthy Climate® collection is the industry's first complete line of ozone-free air quality systems. In the earth's stratosphere, ozone helps to block potentially harmful ultraviolet light from reaching the ground. However, at lower levels in the atmosphere—the air we breathe—it's a product of pollution and can cause respiratory irritation.*

Dual-fuel comfort

Our dual-fuel system offers the perfect combination of efficiency and comfort with two energy sources—an electric heat pump and a gas furnace.

What makes this system so ideal is that it seamlessly alternates between the two energy sources, depending on outdoor conditions. A heating and cooling system all in one, the heat pump functions as both a heating and cooling system, reducing gas fuel consumption. On extra cold days the gas furnace becomes the primary heat source, ensuring maximum comfort is maintained.

SilentComfort® technology

Thanks to exclusive SilentComfort technology, sound is no longer a barrier to home comfort. Included in all heating and cooling systems from the Dave Lennox Signature® Collection, this technology combines advanced engineering with sound-absorbing insulation to deliver the ultimate in quiet performance.

Variable capacity heating and cooling

A technology that's built into the SLP98V gas furnace, and XC25 air conditioner and XP25 heat pump, "variable capacity" is a function of the unit's valve, which automatically adjusts airflow and heat output in 1% increments for the ultimate in precision comfort. It matches the space requirements of your home, without over-conditioning or wasting energy.

Variable speed heating and cooling

The term "variable speed" refers to the unit's fan motor, which moves at different speeds to precisely control the flow of heated and cooled air throughout your home. Better airflow control means a better balance of temperature and humidity.

Two-stage cooling

Two-stage cooling means the air conditioner or heat pump has a compressor with two levels of operation: high for hot days and low for milder days. Since the low setting is adequate to meet household cooling demands most of the time, a two-stage unit runs longer and produces more even temperatures. As an added benefit, many two-stage compressors use the new R-410A refrigerant, which meets U.S. government standards for environmental safety. Learn more about Lennox® two-stage cooling products.

Photocatalytic oxidation (PCO)

PCO-based air purification uses patented ultraviolet-light technology and two types of filtration to remove and destroy all classes of contaminants, chemicals vapors and odors, living microscopic organisms and inhaled particles like dust, pet dander and pollen.

High-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filtration

The most effective filtration option, a HEPA system removes up to 99.97% of particles down to .03 micron**. HEPA technology is so effective, it's often been used in hospital operating rooms, laboratories and other environments where a clean air supply is essential.
